Recognized by those in the upper echelons of fashion for his signature draping and strong tailoring, Ashley Isham’s distinctive blend of high-octane glamour and contemporary styling has won him an army of followers devoted to his vision.

Arriving in London in 1996 from his native Singapore, Ashley embarked on his fashion education, graduating with a degree from Middlesex University. Ashley’s debut collection launched in November 2000 to critical acclaim and he has continued to show at London Fashion Week each season.

Simultaneously contemporary and classic, the dresses Ashley creates possess a unique handwriting synonymous with the designer and were born to be on the red carpet. Little wonder then that Ashley was the official designer at the 2004 BAFTAs and boasts an increasingly high profile clientele ranging from stars of film and television, catwalk, music, British and international royalty.

Skilled in the art of creating pieces for pure spectacle and indulgence, Ashley Isham has showcase his work at various international fashion shows including the Singapore Fashion Festival ( 2004, 2006 ) and Audi Fashion Festival ( 2008, 2009 ), the fashion extravaganza for the 15th Asian Games in Doha, Qatar ( 2006 ), Singapore Season 2007 (held in Beijing & Shanghai) and Fashion Rio 2009. Then followed by showcasing the collection recently at Jakarta Fashion Week, Malaysia International Fashion Week, Haute Couture Week at the Inaugural Women’s Couture Fashion Week Singapore in 2011 and Singapore JewelFest in 2011 & 2012.

In addition to producing collections each season that encompass both prêt-a-porter (comprising drape & tailoring) and opulent couture showpieces, Ashley has also put his design on over 100,000 commemorative bottles and one million cans of Coca-Cola light for the Audi Fashion Festival 2009 held in Singapore in May 2009.

Ashley joined forces with Singapore’s leading contemporary fine jeweler, Lee Hwa Jewellery once again this year (2012) in a dramatic follow up to the well received, Ashley Isham collection first launched in 2009. Stylish, flamboyant and elegant, the new pieces are a reflection of not only his outstanding artistic bent but also a fashion forward acumen honed from years of designing haute couture collections for the world’s most noticeable celebrities.

Celebrities which include Florence Welch at the 2010 Brit Awards, Christina Aguilera at the 2007 Grammy Awards, Princess Zara Philips, Kylie Minogue, Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding, Nadine Coyle, Lady Gaga and Paloma Faith.
